So I'm thinkin' the neighbors across the street are moving. Either that or else they've decided to trade their car in for a U-Haul. Hey, ya never know.
I'm also thinkin' that maybe I should stop having my twitter posts pop up on my blog? What's the consensus on that sort of thing anyway? Do you like reading people's twitters on their blogs or do you think twitters should stay on twitter?
P.S. Russell Stover's Sugar Free Marshmallow Pumpkins are delish! You don't even notice that they're sugar-free they're so good.
P.S.S. Man, IE really butchers this design.

I like the idea of "Sisterchicks." Based on the book series by Robin Jones Gunn, a sisterchick is "a friend who shares the deepest wonders of your heart, loves you like a sister, and gives you a reality check when you're being a brat."
In the novels (there are 7 so far) different sets of sisterchicks set out on different adventures all across the globe from Hawaii, to Paris, New Zeland to Finland etcetera. It's a really great series of faith based "chick-lit" where women from all walks of life set out to have fun, enjoy life and discover the magic and mystery that is faith. I've always thought it would be fun to start up local chapters of sisterchicks (maybe they already have one!) where groups of women gather together to form fabulous friendships and embark on adventures of their own. Whether it's a cruise to the Bahamas or just a trip to the local coffe house to chat and share ideas etcetera. I just fell in love with the whole concept. It's very SARKish which I also love.

I was on my way home for lunch this afternoon and had just dialed my mom on my cell phone when some idiot cuts in front of me. Well naturally I honk and swear at the guy. Wouldn't you know it, just as the words "you f*cking idiot" leave my mouth, that's the exact moment my mom chooses to answer the phone. Whoops! Sorry mom. :)

Woohoo! The new fall TV season has finally started! I'm looking forward to my favorite returning shows One Tree Hill, Lipstick Jungle, Survivor, CSI, Ghost Whisperer, The Simpsons, King of the Hill, House Hunters and Desperate Housewives. I'm also looking forward to checking out new shows like Fringe (I *heart* Joshua Jackson!), Gary Unmarried, Do Not Disturb, Kath & Kim and the Ex-List. I was planning to skip the whole 90210 thing but unfortunately my curiosity got the better of me since I did watch 90210 all through high school. So I was in it more for seeing some of the old gang as opposed to the whole new version thing they have going. But it actually wasn't that bad, so I may tune in again. Sometimes I'll watch an episode or two of NCIS, Boston Legal, House, Grey's Anatomy, the Amazing Race and ER (though I used to be a faithful watcher until Noah Wyle left), but not often, I always thought Heroes, Gossip Girl and Ugly Betty looked pretty good as well but I haven't watched any episodes of those yet.

Part of a conversation I had earlier with a caller:
Me: girlwonder that I am
OF: Old Fart
So OF calls me on the phone and says to me.............
OF: Ah yeah, is it raining down there?
Me: Yes.
OF: Is it supposed to continue through next week?
Me:
*annoyed but still pleasant* Well sir, I'm not exactly a weather professional, but from the looks of it I'd say it will most likely continue.
OF: *all huffy now* Well you don't have to be rude. *click*
Excuse me? I'm rude because I couldn't give you a freaking weather forecast? In case you missed it buddy I'm not a friggin' meteorologist. If you want a weather forecast call the radio or the TV stations or the local newspaper but don't call me and then imply that I'm rude because I didn't pull a weather degree out of my butt just to give you the forecast for next week! Grrr!
