Cocktails @ Five

I have always been somewhat of a TV nut. In fact, I usually look forward to the new fall season, even going so far as to map out ahead of time all the new shows I want to watch. This season, I started out watching around 7 new shows -- Hart of Dixie, Ringer, Revenge, American Horror Story, The Secret Circle, Grimm, and Once Upon a Time. Out of those 7, I still watch 2, but barely. I'm actually about to give up on those too. I don't know why, but I'm just having a harder time investing in new shows lately.

It's a crystal ball! No wait it's a marshmallow being electrocuted! Actually it's just one of those funky static electricity balls you usually see at science museums that stand your hair on end. Only I think this one was broken because it didn't stand our hair on end at all.

Currently reading this week's issue of US Weekly and Murder List by Julie Garwood, which I've had on my bookshelf ever since it first came out in 2004 and am just now getting around to reading. I have quite a few books like that actually. Which is kind of cool when it's pouring rain out and you don't feel like going to the library to find a book to read. You just head over to your bookshelf and voila! Something good to read. So far this book is okay. It's the 4th one I've read by her. Her style is historical romances and suspense romances. I favor the latter and highly recommend Killjoy, Heartbreaker and Slow Burn if you're in need of something good to read.

Another gorgeous day with an absolutely stunning pink cotton candy sunset. Almost good enough to eat. I just wish I could've spent it on the beach or lounging on a lawn chair reading the latest issue of US rather than being cooped up inside a boring office all day. :(

It was an absolutely gorgeous afternoon today so a drive up the coast to browse the local shops and enjoy a lunch of fish & chips with my fam was in order. Also on the menu was meeting my brother's new girlfriend for the first time. So weird. And of course we couldn't resist a few tasty salt water treats along the way. Yum!

Weird compulsion

Now I have this strange compulsion to go back through my blog entries and delete the ones that don't matter anymore or where the circumstances changed or whatnot. Is that weird? 

Blogging? What's that?

My ability to blog is seriously suffering due to my addiction to Twitter. Which, I might add, feeds into my love for being able to spout off the many numerous random thoughts that enter my head throughout the day. And trust me, there are many. However, there is a serious side effect to all this twittering -- it causes me to forget how to blog. Oh the horror! But I suppose I really should make more of an effort to actually write I guess so this place doesn't sit around gathering dust and cobwebs. At least vox is free. I can blog up a storm or blog sporadically and my wallet thanks me either way. Love it!

Billy Hufsey!

Wow. Billy Hufsey linked to my blog! The real Billy Hufsey! I have to admit when I first saw that he had linked to my blog I thought it was some kind of joke. But it's really him! I remember watching him on Days of Our Lives in the late 80's. He played Emilio if I remember correctly. Those were good times on the soap back then. I remember watching the show with my mom when I got home from school. She's watched Days for as long as I can remember and I ended up getting addicted to the show thanks to her. Though I have to admit I don't really watch Days anymore but it's good to see Billy on TV again. He's currently starring in Confessions of a Teen Idol on VH1 (along with some other famous faces) which I stumbled across a few Sunday's ago and also got hooked on.  

Trouble

I have decided that I do not like the new neighbors across the street. Do not like them at all. They look like trouble if you ask me.
